Chris Reid

Underappreciated gems

05 November 2014

Majedie Asset Management’s Chris Reid, the manager of the new St. James’s Place UK Income fund, talks to Chief Investment Officer Chris Ralph about investment processes and opportunities.

Identifying good companies that will become great companies is a skill that is at the centre of Majedie fund manager Chris Reid’s approach to investing. The recently appointed manager of St. James’s Place’s UK Income fund discusses with Chief Investment Officer Chris Ralph how his investment process works and why he likes the look of Sainsbury’s, BAE Systems and Microsoft.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up.  You may get back less than you invested.

The opinions expressed are those of Chris Reid and are subject to market or economic changes. This material is not a recommendation, or intended to be relied upon as a forecast, research or advice. The views are not necessarily shared by other investment managers or St. James's Place Wealth Management.
