Patience pays dividends

20 March 2015

AXA Framlington’s Richard Peirson talks valuations, the outlook for income and why he’s not buying food retailers.

With a career in fund management stretching back over a quarter of a century, Richard Peirson has experienced the full range of market ups and downs. In conversation with Chief Investment Officer Chris Ralph he explains why, despite the FTSE 100 reaching a new all-time high, he believes UK equities still present a good opportunity for long-term investors.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up.  You may get back less than you invested.

The opinions expressed are those of Richard Peirson and are subject to market or economic changes. This material is not a recommendation, or intended to be relied upon as a forecast, research or advice. The views are not necessarily shared by other investment managers or St. James's Place Wealth Management.
